pull ogre here
So, I’m going to have to split this one up into a bunch of posts. On the way to LA yesterday, we made a quick run through the local Macca’s drive-thru. I had to get a picture of this one:

First off: the tagline is horrible, and totally fails the 12-Year-Old Test.
(I have for years maintained that every marketing organization should have a 12-year-old hear every name, slogan and catchphrase they might invent. If the kid smirks after hearing your tagline, you should abandon it, and you probably shouldn’t ask why.)
I hereby predict that kids everywhere are gonna be saying “Pull ogre. Pull ogre HERE.” And not meaning what this poor company thinks it means.
Could this possibly be on purpose?
Let’s also bask in the choice sign placement: yes, that’s right. The arrow is pointing in the wrong direction. (Trust me, the arrow on the other *also* points in the wrong direction–we went into the parking lot on that side.)? I thought I was going to have to walk around to that side, but in fact, they were sent the correct configuration of signs, they were just hung incorrectly.
Think on this one: sign-hanging, as it were, is a management function at Macca’s. That’s the work of a manager, right there.
