Wow. What a year it’s been, and it’s really flown by! Clearly, I’m still having trouble fitting in blog work — there just hasn’t been that much photography, at least not of stuff I would be happy to post here. But there’s been a couple of events that garnered a few shots worth posting, so here goes…
But first, a lovely sunset (because, well, you know…):
Today, Sunshine and I got all gussied up to head out for a lovely Saturnalia dinner (Beef Wellington, baby!). It was good and excessive, something that we don’t really do all that much of anymore (mostly because of our change in diet). Still, it was nice to have a good celebration of the season and the year, and it was awesome for all that.
Back in mid-November, we took the train up into New York City to go walk Central Park and try out a Paleo restaurant (Hu Kitchen, highly recommended!):
Here’s the obligatory selfie from that little jaunt:
And just a couple weeks ago, we got our first serious snowfall of the winter. Of course, we had to go out and wander around in it like idiots. It was fun!
All in all, it’s been a hugely eventful and incredible year. I really feel like one lucky little bug.
